Our Team

Our team is staffed with highly respected college counselors, essay specialists and financial aid experts who each take pride in satisfying every family’s unique needs.

Our Core Values

We value the collaboration of our team to support our clients. By sharing knowledge and working with each other, as well as with other professionals in the field, we are able to give our families the most up-to-date information.

Students and their parents have differing needs, learning styles, and expectations. While all students need to be part of a standard college admission process, our work is customized for each student and their parents.

Our team members are detail-oriented, responsive, knowledgeable, and demonstrate the highest level of integrity.

Holistic Approach

The college process doesn’t just involve making lists and filling out forms; it engages the student in a process analogous to a long-term research project. Parents are part of this process as well, and we help to assign roles and tasks to make this journey as efficient and stress-free as possible.

Deidre Murphy

Director of Marketing and Essay Development

Deidre Murphy is a seasoned executive with more than 25-years of experience in the key areas of strategic planning, client relations, copyrighting, and business development.

As a highly accomplished copywriter who loves the structural world of grammar and linguistics, she has a keen eye for rhetoric and how word choice and tone affect the reader.  She believes that language is not merely text on a page, but also a vehicle which can be used to create images in the reader’s mind to persuade them to believe a story’s purpose or argument, which is especially true in the college entrance essay.

Prior to joining Comprehensive College Consulting, Deidre worked with several top global advertising agencies across a wide range of client categories.

Deidre holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Political and Social Science from Lasell University.
