Norma Greenberg has a 40-year career in education as a teacher, counselor, administrator, and college admissions expert. She has worked in both public schools and in the private sector. Among other professional accomplishments, her leadership in the Guidance Department for two decades set a new standard for college counseling at Wayland High School in Wayland, Massachusetts.
Norma founded Comprehensive College Consulting in 2016. “Our mission is to coordinate and organize the college search and application process in which both students and parents commit to an active role to find the college that is the best one for them. From the time students start their search until the day they send the deposit to the college of their choice, we are there every step of the way and actually make it fun and rewarding!”
Norma’s clinical background brings added value, enabling her to work with complicated family dynamics, as well as with students who have learning disabilities and other academic and/or social/emotional challenges. Over the years, for example, she has supported students on the Autism spectrum, ones with OCD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
She is a past President of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling, a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling, Co-Director of the Summer Program for counselors new to the profession, and a past member of the New England Regional Council of The College Board. When she is not in the office, Norma can be found singing with the Chalice Choir on Sunday mornings, practicing yoga and Pilates, and indulging in her great passion for musical theater. Her greatest loves are her children and grandchildren.

Jane has enjoyed working with a wide range of students, from the most academically successful to those for whom school has been a struggle. She is warm and encouraging and skillfully brings out the best in people. She is acutely aware of the questions and concerns parents and students bring to the college admission process and enjoys helping them navigate that path.

Our Core Values
We value the collaboration of our team to support our clients. By sharing knowledge and working with each other, as well as with other professionals in the field, we are able to give our families the most up-to-date information.
Students and their parents have differing needs, learning styles, and expectations. While all students need to be part of a standard college admission process, our work is customized for each student and their parents.
Our team members are detail-oriented, responsive, knowledgeable, and demonstrate the highest level of integrity.
The college process doesn’t just involve making lists and filling out forms; it engages the student in a process analogous to a long-term research project. Parents are part of this process as well, and we help to assign roles and tasks to make this journey as efficient and stress-free as possible.
